Smart Pakistan Insights Network is going to present its most ambitious legacy building program yet, which ties together and funnels all its strength in terms of media and reporting, creating technology events across all age and demographics as well as developing market insights for the technology industry in Pakistan at all tiers.
Having been part of policy conversations and having done so much industry support work and consulted for branding for the technology industry of Pakistan, and gone out to having done the first school road shows for technology back in the day and also having backpacked across the country to learn about how the average citizen uses technology, we bring SP Live.
This is something that we hope to kick off within the next two to three years aiming to create a platform like UK’s Tech Nation. When we talk of a Digital Pakistan there seems to be an impossibility in terms of picking up all the data sets and saying that here this is where the utility of technology is at best like this and at worst like that; could be that some small zilla in some township or village is using science and technology to better itself whereas a larger third tier city is finding it impossible to do the same.
Smart Pakistan Live w ants to begin to map out across the six provinces and the federating units as to what’s happening in key areas or cities or towns or even villages and saying that okay this is what the data sets says, this is where technology is being used in terms of whether its phones or computers or internet or education via technology or technology in schools or colleges. So we get to have an idea of what the average man thinks when he thinks of technology.
Smart Pakistan Live would cover six provincial units as well as twenty-four cities within those units, to see, to map and to document what Digital Pakistan really is how Smart it can become.
