NeoConcept Consultants established in April 1998 as a design, insights and media consultancy company. Over the first decade of its life, NCC worked with over 700 clients for print, outdoor and animation campaigns as well as content and research consultancies.
International names like Intel, Dell, Galileo, Aga Khan Foundation, Acer, Epson, Philips, Informatics, Siemens to name a few. NCC also developed the country’s first cartoon series for television as well as 2D TVC’s amongst others. For five years it was also Pakistan’s sole reseller agents for Toon Boom Canada Inc. in Pakistan.
NCC’s sister concern Rasala Publications was established in mid 1999 as a publications and editorial house. Rasala Publications launched, owned and operated the Netxpress Media brand from 2000 to 2011 under which it operated five technology publications. Rasala was also the first and only producer of Show Dailies or live event magazines for several large events such as IDEAS, ITCN, IGATEX, PITEX, Textile Asia to name a very few.
Rasala Publications partnered with IDG to bring brands like CIO, PC World, MacWorld, CFO World and CSO to Pakistan alongside eventually taking over Pakistan’s oldest technology IDG owned ComputerWorld in 2012. Rasala also consulted with the GoP/Ministry of IT and Telecom as image and PR consultants, in 2005-6 to develop telecom and technology programs for various media in Pakistan for television, radio and print as well as helping create content that would promote Pakistan’s IT industry abroad.
The Group maintains strong contacts within the technology, music and media community in general. Rasala Publications ran ThinkQuest and Think.com in Pakistan, for 13 years managing a whole ecosystem of edu-tech schools/colleges program that includes workshops, roadshows, tv game shows and radio for the Think Together Programs.
Today, NCC and Rasala have been branded together as NCC-RP Group, formerly known as Rasala Publications Group, which itself has been split into two distinct work portfolio arms. Publishing which is Smart Pakistan Insights Network and Public Relations which is Crunch Collective. Combinatively this remains the oldest media and PR house for the tech industry having worked with more than 2000 events and several hundreds of clients over its 26 years of existence.
